Wintertime Itchiness followup

Okay, so a few weeks ago I posted this

I went to the doctor, just incase I had an external yeast infection (I didn't) and got a prescription strength steroid cream to put down there. It worked the first time or two I applied it and then... I got horribly allergic to it! For the record, I do NOT recommend rubbing something you are allergic to on your genitals. My inner thighs, pubic area, and hands all broke out in the worst rash. I stopped taking the medication last Friday and started taking Benadryl every night and things have gotten better. But I'm STILL breaking out. I'm so afraid of the rash spreading back down to my genitals. I woke up this morning and my fingers are covered in itchy blisters. I'm otherwise mostly fine. I'm getting better (I think?) but is it time to go back to the doctor? (I went to the doctor for the allergic reaction a week from Monday.) How long does it take for an allergic reaction to clear up?
