Abnormal Cells from Pap

I recently had a pap smear done at my universities health clinic. I received the following information as messages  about the pap:

"Atypical Squamous Cells, cannot exclude High Grade Squamous Intraepithelial Lesion (ASC-H)"

and

"I will be in the office today until 2:30pm if you would like to talk today.

They DID NOT FIND CANCER.

It usually takes the virus years for cancer to develop.  We will discuss having a colposcopy.

We do not perform those here."

Can someone please tell me what this means? I have no way of talking to this NP until after the holiday. I'm a little freaked out. Is this HPV or something worse?
