Going from Progestin/Estrogen pill to Nexplanon

Since you all were so helpful with my last question, I have one more!

I just finished my last pack of Reclipsen, which is a progestin/estrogen pill. I have an appointment Friday to get the Nexplanon implant inserted, which is progestin-only. I've been on Reclipsen for a good 1.5 years now with absolutely no issue at all (I've never spotted, except for when I stacked the pills at one point, never had mood swings, etc). I'm switching because I love the idea of not having to worry about a pill every day and I will no longer have my parents' health insurance coverage here in a few months, so a long-term option was preferable.

Switching birth controls has me a little nervous (especially after being bad and YouTubing reviews, but as they say, people tend to go out of their way to speak negatively about something, not positively), but I was hoping to get some more insight! I completely realize every body is different and will react differently, but:

Has anyone gone from a progestin/estrogen pill to the Implanon/Nexplanon or any other progestin-only birth control? If so, did you experience any side-effects?

Again, you all are awesome and I appreciate any feedback :)
