I recently decided to go back on the pill. I've been off it for about 6 years now, and I can't for the life of me remember anything about how it works. I didn't realize this until after I left the drs office, or I would have asked.
Quick background: I get my period about every 35 days, for two days. Sometimes it shows up a few days earlier than that, but never under 30 days.
My pharmacist said because I'm due for my period next week, to just go ahead and wait for it so that it starts regular from the beginning, but with my cycle so long how does it work once I get towards the end of my pack?
So I take the regular pills, and then the "empty" ones at the end but am I continuing onto the next pack then at the end of the "empty" ones regardless if I have my period or not? I assume I just continue onto the next pack?
I can't remember what I use to do. I don't think my period was this long last time I was on it, so I don't think it was a problem.
Sorry if this has been answered before, and thanks for any answers provided.
