Just had a hysteroscopy and something else done to remove a septation in my uterus. He inserted a uterine catheter with a "balloon" containing 2ml of fluid, to keep the uterus from sticking together while healing. He said not to worry if it fell out on its own.
What I was not expecting was for it to fall out on its own just over six hours after the surgery.
Is this something that I should be concerned about?
My husband did a bit of research, and he saw that some surgeons don't even use the uterine catheter after surgery.
Looking forward to any input/advice you all might have!
