Painful vein/bump near bottom of labia minora

Hi everyone!

The other day, I started noticing some odd pinching feeling while drying myself after peeing. I usually pat myself dry rather than straight up wipe so I'll avoid irritation, so I think that's why I noticed it right away. When nervously feeling around, I felt a tight vein on or near the right bottom side of my labia minora, near the entrance of my vagina. Although this is the first time I've ever had an issue like this in that area, I thought it was something that would go away overnight. I'm not sure how it happened or why this happens, but the only thing I could think of was that maybe I cleaned myself too quickly or roughly in the shower. I remember shaving the night before it started, as well. It wasn't from sex because that wasn't happening within the time frame before it began. Or maybe it's from nothing that I did.

At times, it has an itchy/pinching sensation, like a cut or bite that's healing, but when lightly pressed, it feels like when you hit the top of your hand and a vein painfully enlarges... very sore. Three days or so after this started, I had sex, not thinking much of it because it didn't hurt as much as it does now, and the next day (yesterday), it bothered me so much that I couldn't stop thinking about it, especially while walking. Now this morning, I woke up, obviously having to pee, and it's still so tender and painful. I've had my boyfriend look at it for me because I'm too nervous to, and he said it looks like a vein but kind of a small red bump ON it. That was yesterday so it could look different today. I don't know why this is giving me so much anxiety but I just want it to go away! I'm scared to pee or even clean myself in the shower in fear that I'm irritating it even more, but of course that is not an option! I'm all nervous to even feel if it's gotten bigger. :( Have any of you had this? Is there an explanation for it? It's hard to Google anything about it because I'm not sure what to search. I hope I explained myself well enough. Thanks in advance.
