Another "I don't really understand how HBC works" question

Just because I'm curious...

If one accidentally ovulates on HBC (if you skipped a day of pill taking or something) and you get pregnant, will you still get a full withdrawal bleed at the end of the cycle? My instinct is to say that that would be impossible; I know that the bleed is coming from hormone stoppage and not from getting rid of an egg, but isn't the withdrawal bleed still the walls of your uterus shedding?

I use HBC as my primary form of pregnancy prevention and I still welcome my "period" as a sign that everything is working as it should. But it crossed my mind that it might not work that way...and I just wanted to...check. If you get pregnant while on HBC, will your bleed just not come at the end of the cycle?

Thanks for indulging the curiosity!
