The last time I posted here, I asked about genital numbness as a result of Celexa. (Short version: I'm twenty-one, started on Celexa at sixteen, haven't been able to get aroused/have an orgasm since.) Several of you recommended Wellbutrin, so when I went to my family doctor and got a birth control perscription, I asked if I could take Wellbutrin to combat the side effects of the Celexa. She was against it, and said basically that all SSRIs had the side effect of sexual dysfunction, and there wasn't anything I could do or take to alleviate it. Is this true, or should I get a second opinion?
