BRCA and hormonal BC

My grandmother was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and just got her blood drawn for a BRCA test today and I'm trying to gather some information while I'm still calm on the matter. If she tests positive, then myself and other family members will get the test done as well. I read that taking contraceptive pills can help decrease risk of getting ovarian cancer on the following website: http://www.cancer.gov/cancertopics/factsheet/Risk/oral-contraceptives

But I can't find any information on localized hormones ie: nuvaring or mirena. Does anyone know if localized hormones have similar effects on reducing the risk of getting ovarian cancer? Thanks a million.
