About 8 months ago I had a bit of a problem "downstairs". I was bleeding when it wasn't my period so I went to get things checked. The doctor examined me and then took a sample to be test for abnormalities. It was quite uncomfortable and I felt really dizzy and experienced a type of "hot flash" during the procedure. From what I understood, there was some inflammation. When I went home I felt really dizzy and had a high fever during the night. After that I had a number of large sores just below my bottom lip and above my chin, but they went away after about a week and a half with no marks or scars. When the results came back I was told that I had something "like" chlamydia, but not. I am working in China and I don't speak fluent Chinese. My translator wasn't very forthcoming about details and all the test results were in Chinese.

The thing is, I used contraception, so I don't understand how I could've contracted a STI. The only thing I can think of is that my sexual partner was too rough (I do remember one incident where there was some pain), or maybe when he was touching me his fingers were too rough.

I used the medicine, but I didn't go back for a follow-up exam. The person who helped me last time isn't around anymore and I don't have anyone else I can trust to go with me. I haven't had any problems with bleeding or anything else, and I haven't been sexually active for about 5 months now.

Oh, also I had an ultrasound done and the doctor said that my uterus is smaller than average. What does that mean?
