Hey all. I had a hysterosalpingogram (HSG) done on Friday. It did not hurt as much as I had been afraid it might, though it did hurt some. They had a little difficulty getting the catheter in through my cervix and them messing with it was not too comfortable.

Anyway, though it was not that painful, I felt very weak and dizzy afterwards and that feeling has not gone away. Also, although it was not that painful during the procedure, I felt a lot of pain immediately following and it has just continued. I feel achey all over, my legs feel really stiff, and I just don't feel well. It's a little difficult to urinate (hard to relax due to the pain; the same thing happens when I'm menstruating), a full bladder is painful... an achy nauseating feeling, not like a UTI, and the front wall of my vagina hurts. I do not appear to have any signs of infection-- no discharge, itching, or bad smell.

Should I expect this to get better soon? If you've had one, how quickly did you feel back up to snuff? Should I be concerned that the pain, stiffness, dizziness, and fatigue just seems to be getting worse? Basically, all they told me as that infection was uncommon, but to report any signs that I might have one.
