Vaginal specific allergy?

Hey all,

Last time I had sex it was pretty painful, so the why and the hows have been bothering me. After talking to some co-workers they mentioned they were allergic to only certain brands of condoms, which I had never heard of before, but it occurred to me that might have been my problem.

It was the first time I've been exposed to Magnums, and, to be frank, it felt like I was getting penetrated with fire. It was worse then having sex for the first time. Afterwards I bled a little, and there was itching the next day, so I figured I might have had an allergic reaction. However if that's the case then the allergy only affects my vaginal skin, not my hands/mouth/etc. I guess my question is, is that even possible?

Kind of hoping the answer is "yes", otherwise I've gone from "might possibly be suffering from some vaginismus" to definitely suffering from it :( I booked it to my gyno afterwards and tests were negative for infections and STDs, so it wasn't that.
