I used to take monophasic pills and shamelessly manipulate my period by skipping/reducing the placebo week. I'm back on the pill after almost a year being off it, and I'm on a triphasic (Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo) for the first time. Because it's my first month, I'm experiencing tons of irregular bleeding, basically a non-stop period. And I want it to stopppp.
I've looked up and found plenty of info about how to skip your period on a triphasic pill, but since I'm already into the placebo week (and have been bleeding for long since before), it doesn't apply. On my previous monophasic pills, when I started the active pills again, my period would basically stop within a day or two, even if my inactive time was less than 7 days. I'm on my 3rd inactive day and I'm considering taking my first active pill tomorrow (skipping 4 placebo days). Should I expect the same period-ending results with triphasic, or would I just screw up things even more?
Sorry for all the nonsense!
