Cleaning out my cabinets, I came across a pregnancy test. It expired August of this year. MOST expiration date are just suggestions, and the item is generally good for quite some time past. I was going to throw it on freecycle (I HATE waste), but then I thought that, you know, this is something important. Are the chemicals in a pregnancy tests some of the ones that the expiration date holds true? If not, is there a general guideline as to the half life, and how long they *should* be good for? It's one of the cartridge types from Dollar Tree, if that means anything.
