Hey guys,
I have one question. For the past few months I've been experiencing a tiny bit of bleeding during/after sex. It stops as soon as the sex stops. I brought it up to my doctor in June when I went for my annual and she said that it wasn't anything to be concerned about.

After another episode last night, and a few weeks ago, I'm convinced something is wrong. It doesn't happen EVERY time, and it doesn't matter what position (like doggie style can penetrate deeper and therefore make it more likely, but that's not the case all the time). I thought it would just happen before my period was due, but I am half way through my cycle right now.

I wanted to talk to my doctor about it and make an appointment but the offices were closed today so I'll have to wait until tomorrow. I just want to know if anyone has any suggestions/experienced anything similiar?

The information that I've been looking up always mentions cervical cancer, which scares me to death, but I think it's highly unlikely considering I've gone for an annual pap since I was 16. I had one abnormal pap when I was 18 and then it was normal at 19 and 20 (I'm 21 now). This year my doctor said she wasn't going to do an annual pap. I asked her to do one anyway, and she explained that because I had a normal pap the past 2 years that it wasn't necessary to do one again because if anything was wrong, such as cervical cancer, it would progress so slowly that there wouldn't be time for it to advance. She also said that pap smears are going to become bi-annual now instead of annual, due to the high amount of abnormal pap smears and the fact that they usually clear up on their own and treating for them is invasive and unnecessary.

Anyway, I also would like to say that there is no chance for me to have an STD that's causing this. And, I'm not on any kind of birth control as of April. My periods have been normal, 28-30 day cycle every month.

Please let me know what you think and if you've heard/experienced something similiar, because I'm freaking out a bit!
