Exactly 2 weeks ago, my husband and I had a bit of an accident. I took a pregnancy test at days 6, and 9. Both were negative.
However, I'm now in the zone for having a period, and while I'm having the symptoms, there's no period. I feel like I really need to take another test, because I feel like the tests I'd taken before could have been false positives. My husband doesn't want to even think about it, since it's really bad timing, but I need and want very much to know. Should I take another one now that we've hit the 14 day mark?
If I am pregnant, then I have a couple concerns.
I'm interested in home birth, but we're living with his parents, in a house that belongs to an aunt of his. How messy are they? Are there ways to convince his parents I'm not insane? Can you still have an epidural with a home birth? I don't really like hospitals, and I feel comfortable with the idea of being in my own zone.
I have no insurance, however, so I'm unclear as to how much care I can actually get. I have Plan First Medicaid, but I need to get information on how much that covers re: pregnancy.
