Pretty sure it's not herpes, but what do you all think?

Hello, VPers.

So last night, when I was walking around, I felt a soreness on my labia. When I reached down to check it out, I felt a bump that was painful and tender to the touch and about the same diameter as a pencil eraser. It wasn't hard at all, and kind of basically felt like it was full of liquid. Only about a half an hour after I felt that bump, it started to hurt to walk, almost.

When I woke up this morning, the pain and soreness has decreased, and so has the size of the bump. It's still uncomfortable, but not as bad as it was last night.

I've read up on the symptoms of a herpes outbreak, and I haven't had any of them (like the itchiness, the swollen lymph nodes, the flu-like symptoms, etc.), except for this random bump.

I also shave my labia and I've had a bartholin cyst/abcess in the past.

Does this sound like a herpes outbreak, or does it sound more like an ingrown hair or a bartholin cyst? I would normally get this checked out by a doctor, but my copay is fifty dollars and I just don't have that kind of money to spend right now. Siiiigh, I miss my old health insurance...it would only cost me fifteen dollars to see a doctor...
