I have been considering switching from pads & tampons to a cup. As i was looking at the various models out there, i noticed that one brand came in two sizes/models: one for "women under 30 who have never given birth vaginally" and one for "women over 30 or who have given birth vaginally."
i am 30, have never given birth, and i'm curious- i can understand having a different model for women who have given birth, but what gives with the "over 30" designation? what changes in the anatomy at this age? does the cervix change shape/size/texture? is it something to do with the cycle?
Any thoughts are welcome. Thank you.
