Just started antiobiotic...yeast infection already?!?

So today, I discovered I had a UTI. I got a prescription for Bactrin, which I take three times a day for three days. I have never taken this particular drug before, nor have I ever taken one that you only take for a few days.

With that in mind, I took my first pill 5 hours ago and not another one since. I am already itching like MAD. I usually do get yeast infections with almost any prolonged antibiotic use, and I know it's common....but this quick?

So should I buy some yeast infection medicine and start treatment tomorrow? I do sometimes get pH problems down there too, so could the antibiotic cause that instead and should I consider going with RePhresh which I ave had to use before to balance everything out down there before. Would that help prevent a yeast infection if I don't have one already? Should I do both? Can I do both?

I really can't get to a doctor over the weekend, I have big plans this weekend that cannot be rescheduled or canceled which requires us to run around for hours. I'd like to find some way to be comfortable if possible since otherwise, it's going to be a loooooooong weekend of itching.

I am thinking just go with the yeast infection medicine...but figured it couldn't hurt to ask since I have never had one come on within hours of an antibiotic before. Holy cow, this stuff would be powerful I guess? It does work in only three days.
