Reoccurring yeast infection

Okay, so I did everything right. I went to the doctor, got diagnosed with an external yeast infection after dealing with it for over 3 months. I take fluconazole in ADDITION to Nystatin and triamcinolone Acetonide, and finally my vagina was back to normal in 5 days. I stopped using my birth control as well, as I assume I may have gotten it from that too. (I always got really bad yeast infections from Plan B in the past.) No cuts, no dryness, no soreness. Regular color, etc.

For 2 weeks.

Then I shaved down there with a new razor, by the way, and omg the soreness and dryness comes back. and the discomfort when sitting or walking. Now I wake up with two cuts. I'm so upset. Will I never be free of this? What did I do wrong? I am telling myself it was the razor but it was a brand new razor. :/ I am thinking about using my Nystatin cream again twice a day for ten days and seeing if that will help, since I still have it.

What do you guys think? Could this be a reoccurring yeast infection? and if it is, how do other people deal with having this problem all the time? I won't be able to have sex or walk comfortable again, it feels like.
