My name is NiNa, I'm 28, and I've been reading this community for a while, but this is my first time posting.
I have a history with heavy clots during my period. 4 years ago, I almost died because of it.
Last September, I had surgery to remove two polyps in my uterus that were thought to have been causing the majority of the clots.
This past cycle, I had a lot of clots, not as many as pre-surgery, but still a lot. My period also lasted a solid 3 weeks.
The main issue with this for me is that my husband and I have been trying desperately to conceive since right after my surgery, and with no luck. My periods are still irregular, so it's a bit hard for us to track when im likely ovulating. Whenever we think I am, it turns out that I get my period within a week or two of that.
After my surgery, my doctor said that he could put me on clomid if we still had trouble
Conceiving. I'm wondering, is it too soon to ask him to put me on clomid? Any advice or insight that any of you have would be much appreciated!
