Tiny "cuts" down there and soreness?

Okay, I've been having this problem for a while now. I have what are basically tiny "papercuts" on the lips of my vagina. They hurt if I run my fingers across them or sometimes when I pee or if water is too hot. I have not had sex since last June. I've been tested for every STD (including Herpes) and I was recently to the GYN and she told me that everything was healthy and there was nothing wrong. I don't understand! How could everything be fine? I told her about the pain and explained my situation, but she basically brushed it off and said I was fine and healthy.

So what exactly is the problem?

The first time I ever had pain there was after the first time I had sex (last march.)  A few days later my boyfriend and I tried again and that hurt too. We figured it was just my body adjusting. A few days later I went to the clinic and started birth control so we could have sex without condoms. Pain continued with the sex, so I decided to go back to the clinic and get STD testing but I had nothing. They swabbed me and told me I had a yeast infection. They gave me some cream (Miconzole, I think) and in seven days it seemed a lot better.

After a few days, however, the pain pain and scratches persisted. There was no unusual discharge and although it seemed like me scent had changed it was in no ways a bad scent. Assuming it was just the yeast infection, I tried some over the counter drugs. It would go away for a few days, and come back. I researched online and figured it was a recurring yeast infection. I decided to treat it naturally and began orally taking cranberry, garlic, and acidophilus vitamins. I tried cutting sugar out of my diet. There was no change with the pain. There were still "scratch-like" things, and if I put two fingers in a "scissored" that hurt as well (before I had sex I had no pain with stuff like that AT ALL.)

In June I broke up with my boyfriend and stopped taking birth control. I haven't had sex since then. That cuts allergies to semen and latex, as well as the possibility that the sex was stopping my vagina from healing. I gave up with the vitamins and over the counter drugs and a few weeks ago went back the GYN. Again, she told me everything was fine, I didn't even have a yeast infection! There is nothing wrong, or so I'm to believe.

I'm starting to feel like I'm crazy. What the hell could this be?

Thanks to anyone who has suggestions.
