Storing birth control

I have a question about storing my birth control pills. The packaging says they should be stored at a temperature between 68 and 77 degrees... but there isn't a single room in my house that stays above 68 degrees all the time, especially in the winter. No matter where the pills are stored, the temperature is going to be below 68 a significant portion of the time. Am I right in thinking a few degrees shouldn't make that much difference, especially if it's on the cold end? I know I'm probably being paranoid; I just want to make sure the temperature of my house isn't going to cause me to get pregnant :P
