Birth control pill storage

I feel like this is a silly question, but it's been bugging me so I have to ask.

So I just got a new job as a retail cashier. Since my breaks aren't at the same time everyday, I've started keeping the day's birth control pill in a little plastic baggie in my pants pocket so that when 12:00pm (pill time) rolls around, I'll always have my pill on me no matter where I happen to be in the store.

It seems like my breaks are always going to be around 12:00-2:00, and I know the window of time for taking a combined pill is somewhat forgiving, but I don't feel very comfortable taking my pill +/- a couple hours each day. So having it on me gives me some peace of mind.

However, I also know you should store BC pills at room temperature, and that storing them at a higher temperature is especially bad and can alter their effectiveness. So my question is, due to body temperature and all, is it safe for me to keep my pill in my pocket for a few hours?
