LOOOOOOONG Period - do I have to wait to get tested?
I've been on my period since June, and it's really starting to annoy/worry me. I have never been pregnant, I haven't had sex in over 3 years, and I'm not on birth control. I've always heard that you have to not be on your period when you have a gyno appointment because it can interfere with some of the tests they do, but this is really starting to freak me out. I found a free clinic in my area that I qualify for who I think will be able to help me out. Should I wait who knows how long for my period to stop before I go, or should I just go on Tuesday when I'm off work and get this thing figured out?
P.S. I know the clinic I picked doesn't offer Birth Control, but I figure I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. If I do need it, I can have my records transferred to a doctor that will prescribe BC.
