I was taking a six month break from the pill to see if it was exacerbating some medical issues I was having, it was deemed "not an issue," and now I'm starting back up on HBC. For some reason, this time around, the pill is giving me acne something fierce.
I have typically very clear skin, and treat my occasional flare-ups with benzoyl peroxide, which I was under the impression was a pretty good acne-fighter. But these suckers are not going away. Should I be treating my hormonal acne differently than I would treat my normal acne? These are pretty shallow pimples, but there are a lot of them across my forehead & cheeks, and they are not really all that uh...poppable (sorry for the TMI). And I try not to mess with them too much anyway.
Hahahaha...MAKE THEM GO AWAY WITH YOUR MAGIC, VP-ERS!
