My menstrual blood is extremely watery today, which has never happened to me before. I woke up this morning to find that I had just started my period, but it felt more like I had wet my pants. (Usually, my period blood feels thicker and more like my usual vaginal discharge.)
I use Instead, and when I emptied my cup, it was like releasing a water balloon or something--blood spattered EVERYWHERE in the toilet bowl and even up on the seat a bit. (Typically, most of my blood stays in the cup until I dump it out; if the cup is too full or the seal breaks, it flows much more slowly and thickly, almost like molasses or something.) The blood also got all over my hand, and it felt, again, like warm water.
Is this within the realm of "normal" bodily shenanigans? I Googled a bit, but most references were to implantation bleeding, and it is absolutely impossible for me to be pregnant right now. I couldn't find anything here, either--I've been reading for several months and I don't recall this coming up, and it wasn't in any of the way-back tagged entries.
