When to worry?

I'm one of those women who has a 28 day cycle, like clockwork. For the last few months, I've noted my start dates and they were all exactly 28 days apart. I was diagnosed with PCOS last month but told I was lucky to be having such regular periods. I was supposed to have another scan today but postponed it because I was supposed to have my period but I don't. My last period started on 19th February, so by my calculations it's already a few days late. I mentioned it to the doctor today when I went for blood tests and she said it's probably the PCOS. But what are the chances of that? To have perfectly regular periods my entire life and then suddenly not, as soon as I find out about the PCOS? I'm pretty stressed etc but my cycle has never been affected by stress, or anything else, before.

EDIT - I just received my pap smear results. They're abnormal. I posted here last year my strange tale of having had a colpo in September and got the all clear, being told to come back in three years, then having the pap smear results I'd had before the colpo (in August) arrive with 'borderline changes'. So either the doctor made a mistake or my CIN came back after going away completely. Is that common? To be given the all clear only to get an abnormal pap six months later?
