However - it leaves me with the side-effect of being so sluggish and just all-around tired when I'm on my period. For over a week, I feel less engaged in conversations, and just want to nap perpetually.
How do you guys deal with this? I'm thinking starting daily iron supplements, but I don't know if there is something I should couple with that. I just can't imagine taking naps every day of my period - I'd feel like I was missing out on my out life for quarter of the year.
Before I got my IUD, my period was kind of like a little friend, but now I'm really starting to have hateful feelings towards it, so it's kind of hard dealing with that too. I've never hated "being a woman" before. =[
