These questions don't have to be Mirena specific, that's just the HBC I'm using now. Could be any HBC.
Would taking St. Johns Wort affect the Mirena in terms of spotting, cramping, etc? (Basically I don't care about the birth control aspects of it right now. But pain I care about; I'm pain free for the first time in months and I want to keep it that way.)
Would St. Johns Wort actually be effective against Mirena induced rage and depression? (Basically it's taking what seems like my normal PMS and making it 10 times worse.) It takes a few days to build up in your system correct?
Is there anything else that will work short of anti-depressants? I've been trying Omega 3, evening primrose oil, B-complex (as well as increasing B-6 & B-12 specifically), calcium/magnesium, and Vitamin D. (I don't know how much vitamin D- whatever is in my multi.) None of them are making a dent.
