I know I just posted recently, but I have to get this off my chest. If this is inappropriate, mods, feel free to delete.
I just wanted to vent my frustration about the fact that I've had a couple men (people who self-identify as men) come up to me recently and ask me, "Why are women so weird/crazy/psychotic/confusing/succubus bitches?" (By the way, I'm not exaggerating... all these have been said to me.)
A couple of the questions were asked of me today and my jaw just dropped (luckily it was via internet chat, so the person didn't see my face) and I became so angry. First of all, I identify as a woman, I'm in a successful romantic relationship and am successful in other aspects of my life, so why would anyone in their right mind ask me those sorts of things? I find it completely disrespectful and inappropriate.
The first thing I wanted to point out was that his poor attitude toward women was probably a huge clue, but I was nice and tried to give advice in other ways. I should have just told him that I was offended by his questions, but I was so upset by it that I wanted time to think about it before I said something foolish.
Am I exploding over nothing, or does this strike anyone here as offensive??
