I recently had a rash on the underside of my breasts, about halfway between my nipples and where my ribcage is. I was unsure of what caused it... first I thought it was due to the cold, dry weather, but when moisturizers, cocoa butter, and baby oil all proved ineffective, I thought it may be something else. At the time I had the rash, I was alternating between bras that were all made from the same material. I had a Victoria's Secret bra but thought it fit funny... so I switched to wearing that as well as sports bras instead, and the rash went away. For Christmas, I bought two all-cotton full-coverage VS bras(NOT a fun time... I am "gifted" in this area, but I have a small ribcage, and so they had to call into the back for my size. Also, the lady who rang me up made an extremely rude comment... I was so embarrassed!). I'm now alternating between these two bras and the other VS bra I had before hand. The rash is gone, and hopefully for good. I was concerned that it was a delayed reaction to getting my nipples pierced a few months ago, but thankfully that doesn't seem to be the case.
So my question is this: Has anyone else ever had what seems to be an allergic reaction to bras that they have been wearing for months previous with no issues? What gives? Are my boobs just picky?
