Thanks for opening my eyes to other views.
I have been working with the Rape Recovery Center here in Salt Lake City for personal reasons as well as for my job. They were giving me some statistics.
1 in 3 women are sexually assaulted.
1 in 6 men are sexually assaulted.
I'm pretty sure that number is in the Salt Lake County, which is a big county, but it is still horrendously high.
I personally think taking at least the pill, even if you aren't having sex, is almost a necessity with those kind of numbers. It makes me paranoid when I go anywhere (I'm paranoid anyway because of my experience with rape, but still...)
What are your opinions?
