So, because of the recent fright about Yaz, my doctor switched me to Loestrin 24. When I picked up my first month today, I was told that one month's worth was $40, and I almost fell over. I'm not sure if this is a difference in my insurance or the actual medication, but my Yaz was around $15. I was told that my insurance was knocking it down from $65, which is great and all but 40 is still way too much. If this is a difference in cost of the actual pill, do you have any idea why Loestrin is so much more expensive? I mean, jeez louise, I was perfectly fine with Yaz!
