Creamy White Discharge?

My vaginal discharge is always creamy and white. It isn't see through at all, it's almost solid white. It's not accompanied by itching, but there's a far amount of it, especially if I stick a finger in. It's not clumpy, either.

Is it normal to always have creamy white discharge? Even when it's not before or after your period? I wouldn't be concerned if mine wasn't a 110% of the time thing.

Thanks everyone.

i think it's normal.
i found out my thick, plentiful discharge was just a variant of regular discharge that includes cervical cells.

Here's a website about discharge from the VP sidebar.

I'm the same way. It's normal.

"Thick, white discharge is common at the beginning and end of your cycle. Normal white discharge is not accompanied by itching. If itching is present, thick white discharge can indicate a yeast infection."

I read that before posting. Unfortunately, it doesn't answer my question, as it specifically says "at the beginning and end of your cycle," and mine is permanent.

Does it have a smell to it? Try putting in a light tampon when you're NOT on your period, then taking it out & observing to see if there's any other colors. Also, is there a lot of it?

Nope, not that I can tell. There isn't a lot of it, it's just more noticeable than clear discharge.

I would ask your gyno about it if you're worried or need that reassurance. Other than that, it's normal. :]

i always have this.. never really worried about it since it doesnt itch or burn.. i think its just natural lubrication!
