Hey, I was wondering if anybody has any pictures of intact hymens. All I've been able to find are drawings. I'm just curious because I don't think I was born with one, or it broke very, very early in life.
Oh wow those are really good. I've always known what a hymen was, and where it should be, but never really known if I ever had one. For some reason I thought it would be placed above the opening of my vagina, not under it. Now I know what that weird sensitive tissue is!

The hymen as we know it is a myth!
It has recently been renamed and scientists have updated what they know about it. In fact, there is no brittle membrane or curtain, but rather multiple folds of mucous membrane.
