I'm Clover. I'm 22, female bodied but inherently male. *FtM*. I have genital herpes, so I frequently have issues with my vag. Aside from obvious mental issues with it. LOL. I can't remember why I first came here, but I love this community. :D

Greetings from member 12,600 :)

I found this community through other journals and am very interested and intrigued by the concept. I'm 36yr, newly re-married, formerly actively polyamorous now monogamous but not necessarily permanently so. For my entire adult (and a good part of my pre-adult) life I've a had a very dichotomous attitude toward sexuality and sexual mores. I grew up reading Robert Heinlein novels but was raised in a strict Christian, Bible-belt family. So on the one hand I was reading free love and multiple marriages and on the other being hammered with sex is bad and women are bad and naked bodies are bad, etc. It's something I still struggle with at times, though less so than in the past.

Looking forward to learning and sharing with the community. I suspect my to-do list for today is shot now as I don't think I can resist reading this community until I've read it all!

My name is Rachel and I'm 22 years old. I'm in a very happy long term/long distance relationship. I found this page through Google because I've had a variety of problems with my naughty bits in the past year or so. It's nice to know that I'm not the only one...

Hello, I've just joined here. I'm a member of a couple menstrual communities, but occasionally I have questions that are better suited to a more general women's forum, and I've heard nothing but good things about this place :)

I'm 24 (25 in November), married with a two-year-old son. I'm plus-size, bi, kinky, geeky, Wiccan, and a whole host of other things (listed and explained in my profile). My parents always taught me that the human body is beautiful and never anything to be ashamed of, and while I may get shy when someone sees me naked for the first time (and being in a monogamous marriage, that's not much of a concern anymore... except if I get me a girlfriend :P), I have little problem discussing body issues of any kind.

Happy to be here. On to post my question!

Hi! I'm Rahnia. I'm 19 and a recent addition to the town of Natchez, Mississippi. I've always been interested in issues of sexual education and female sexuality, and due to some recent experiences, I could really use a supportive community like this. I found this community through the iud_divas community, and I'm excited to join the group!

I'm from MS too! About... an hour from Natchez.

Hey. I'm Claire, 18, living in Australia. Just arrived in this comm, took me about 5 seconds to decide to join because of the open, common-sense, accepting tone of the place and the advice given. Love it!
In a relationship with a 27yo boy. Starting university next year - Arts/Law, not sure but maybe going to slip some Gender Studies into the Arts mix. Have always been interested in feminism and a lot more confidence and transparency about vaginas, their pains, problems and triumphs. I can't stand the giggling and embarrassment about it all - I found it generally starts in late primary school. I didn't get it, even then.
So.. cool stuff vaginapagina! Love your work. xx

In short, I'm 27, a mother of one, early in my pregnancy with another! I am in my final semester of nursing school, looking to possibly go into women's health. I found this page through womenhealth and thought it would be another great way to explore women's health issues and make sure it's the career path I would like to choose!

Came across this community while searching for women-orientated communities. I'm interested in feminism and body/sex positive issues. I'm in the interesting position of being a lesbian with a boyfriend, well more than a boyfriend, a male life partner who I love rather dearly. So love is making me re-discover male/female sex and how it can work for me. It's a great adventure. I'm in the UK and I'm 24.

I really do not have any idea how I found this community back in the day. I am 27 years old and I live in New Mexico with my boyfriend, 3 cats, a dog, and a fish=) I am currently a PhD student studying Educational Leadership and I work full time as a drug and alcohol counselor. I moved to New Mexico from Florida last year and I did it on a whim for love<3!

I have no idea whether I put in a profile way back when, but life has changed a lot.

My name is Mary, I'm 43 1/2, I have two dogs, a spectacular partner who I've been with for a decade, and with whom I wedded last July, and I'm a teacher.

Next year come MASSIVE changes, including going back to school and other big things. Later, I hope to talk more about them.

I was proud to get the first (I think) VP "customer service" sort of award, but those didn't last long. Still, it was fun at the time. It was a long time ago.

Depending on how busy life is, I have VP on my f'list, or I don't, or I do but skim it. Right now, I'm skimming, but I'm here.

I'm April, I am 20, will be 21 in a few months. I want to be more "in the know" of my body. I'm current taken by a wonderful man =). I'm glad I have a vagina instead of a penis. I think this community is an extremely excellent idea!! I happened upon this community through a random lj interest search. I don't even remember what I was searching for now!!! haha. Okay.. yeah if you wanna know more just ask me on yim, or add me!!!!

I'm an openly lesbian French teacher. I love sex and I love answering and finding the answers to all things related. I have an amazing partner and a 4 year old son.

Howdy. I'm 20, I live in Seattle, and one of my friends told me about the wonder that is vaginapagina. I've been in a monogamous relationship for the past two years, and the only thing I plan on using my uterus for is storing yarn if I run out of room in my apartment!

I'm Karen, I'll be 18 on November 20th [yay for being legal! ;)]. I live just outside of Detroit.
I found my way here through the sextips community.
I have an awesome boyfriend and we've been going out for 6 months on the 19th (ever since our Senior prom). It's too bad he's currently over 10 hours away for college. LDRs suck.
I'm a freshman in college, majoring in elementary education.

I'm a 24 year old Australian, living and working in Japan. I can't quite remember how I found this community but I'm very glad I did. Everybody is so well informed and supportive. I can't count the number of times I've posts and gone "oh yeah! I get that too! I always wondered what the story was there."

Hooray for VP. :)

hello everyone! my name is lucy, i'm 19 years old. i've always been interested in female health and ob/gyn. my mother is a doctor and has always been very forward with answers to my questions, which has been great. of course i'm relatively young, but i find that i tend to know more than most because of this and my interest in the 'subject' itself. i joined mostly to give advice and support though i think if anything ever came up i needed encouragement on, i wouldn't think twice about posting here. i think it's a really safe, happy environment and i'm impressed with the upkeep.

other interests include language & literature, visiting galleries & museums, designing & creating things (jewellery, sketches...), photography, reading & writing. perhaps you could say "the arts in general", but of course there are many other shades to my personality.

i think that's enough about me. :) x

Hello all,
I'm 19 years old and female; I found this comm through a friend's journal.
This community really seems amazing. Sharing information, creating bonds between diverse people, creating safe spaces, and promoting sexual health (in a way that isn't anti-sex) are things that have been really important to me for years.
In tenth grade, I got my first job: I was a peer educator in a GLBTQ AIDS/HIV prevention program.
As someone who has lived through sexual abuse, I really appreciate VP's stance on victim blaming.
I hope I can be a helpful addition to VP.

Hello all! Amanda here. I'm 23 and from Georgia.

Found this community through another one and joined a day or so ago. I'm glad to have found it, since it's more positive than other comms I've seen. Also, as a sexual abuse survior, I'm all in favor of VP's take on victim blaming. I hope I'll be able to contribute to the community somehow one day!

After being an avid LJ'er for years now, I just recently ran into this community! I'm a 24 year old girl from Washington, DC. :)
