New Policy on Repeated Topics/Posts in VP.

In an effort to respond to some of the survey responses, it's time for us to take action on a few requests that have been made painfully clear by many members.

Please read this new section of our FAQ about this topic.

I also added this to our profile page under the "Warnings & Disclaimers" section:

Repeated Post Guidelines: Some of us who have been around for a while are tired of seeing the same old questions pop up day after day. Please see this link in our FAQ to find out what a frequent topic is and how you can avoid irritating members by posting them in this community. Rule of Thumb: Always check The Archive before you post!

If you haven't yet, please join the community and take the VP Members-only Survey! We want to know what works (and what doesn't) in your community.

That does seem to come up a lot here and that would be nice to see in the archives.

Have you checked the archives lately? Yeast infections are already there :)

Look here under "Yeast Infections".

I thought I had but maybe not. Sorry. And thank you!

So does this mean that whenever someone asks an archived question we should direct them accordingly?

That's probably good practice, although the idea is that people will go to the Archive first anyhow. :P
