probably stupid, but just looking for some feedback. Generess Fe

I'm 19 and this i just completed my 4th pack of Generess Fe. I've been pretty regular with some spotting during the month, expect this month. I've had nothing and now on my last placebo pill will very very minimal spotting. I wouldn't at all call it a period. But I have cramps and all other pas symptoms. My boyfriend and I use condoms as well as birth control, but I can't figure out why I didn't get my period. Any ideas?

The hormones in the pill thin your uterine lining, so sometimes there isn't much to shed. For some people this is a desirable side effect, but others find it causes anxiety about pregnancy. I'm too lazy to look it up, but if I recall, Generess has synthetic hormones and a pill-taking schedule that makes light or missing bleeds especially common. If you find this is a problem, you might try a different pill.

What nickelshoe said. :)

I use continuous birth control, so if I do it correctly, I don't ever get periods/withdrawal bleeds. I take a pregnancy test every month or two, since I don't get that physical signal that I'm not pregnant. Pregnancy is quite unlikely (and for the record, it's even more unlikely for you since you're using both hormonal birth control and condoms), but I like the reassurance it provides. If you're otherwise happy with how this brand is working for you, you could invest in some inexpensive dollar store pregnancy tests (they're just as reliable as store brands) to use months when you don't have any bleeding.
