Neat news from the partnership with LJ front: We've created a custom VP userhead from our beloved icon, Madge.
This userhead is completely free for community members! To use it, just go to the profile and press the "Switch to VaginaPagina userhead" button. You'll need to be a VP member to make the switch, so if you're watching us but haven't joined yet, what are you waiting for?
Note: If you are already using a custom userhead and would like to switch to the VP version, you'll have to switch back to the default userhead first. To do so, go to the Edit Profile area and scroll down to the Userheads field, where you can reenable the default userhead.

Once my custom userhead expires, I'll definitely be switching over to Madge. :)
BTW, where did Madge come from? What's the story behind her?
In August of 2002 (!), we started looking for designs for a new icon. After our current icon was selected, Bob put out another poll asking for name suggestions. Mulva was thrown around a few times, but it was
Maybe Bob or another member who was around back in the day recalls this better than I could piece together from expired images in the archives and can flesh this out. I'm not actually clear who drew Madge but I think maybe it was Bob? Is that right?
...Edit. Oh! About 2 seconds after I asked this, I noticed the little three-haired figure next to my name :) I get it now!
