I've had mine for nearly 10 years now and I don't regret it for a minute. Mine is done vertically with a tiny curved barbell. Healing-wise, it was probably the easiest out of all of my piercings, to be honest. That surprised me a little. When I first got it done, I experienced the feverish feeling to the piercing site, which wasn't exactly bad given the location, lol. I'd say that mine adds just the perfect amount of sensitivity, though I can't speak for others when it comes to that. I know that some people are worried about either being TOO sensitive or losing sensation afterward, but I didn't have that issue. The only time I have any sort of discomfort is when the barbell gets twisted, since the skin is so stretchy/thin/soft. It's not what I would consider outright pain, though. But it doesn't happen often and it's a quick fix. :)
