How long to wait to have sex after taking Diflucan?

So I've determined that I did in fact have a mild YI. I took a Diflucan today... How long do I need to wait before I can have sex??

What side effects, if any have you experienced while on Diflucan?

Thanks!

I am very prone to YI's and I am a big fan of the diflucan, however, I would wait a good couple of days before engaging in sex just so that your body can get back to it's regular flora/fauna.
I would also take some acidophilus pills or eat a lot of yogurt to help that out to as well.
Good luck.

OH yah and I've never (that I can tell) experienced any side effects from it...

You should wait until you feel back to normal down there, however long that takes!

I've taken Diflucan plenty of times and have never had any side effects.
I would wait a few days before having sex, I've been told 3 days by a doctor before. But whenever you feel like things are right down there should be good enough.

Also, wanted to add that if you're having unprotected sex, please be sure that your partner didn't catch the yeast infection from you. Cause then they'd give it back to you and it's an ugly vicious cycle (trust me, I know).

Hope this helps!
