Veet Bladeless Hair Removal

Has anyone used veet hair removal with the bladeless thing for their pubic area? I've always shaved and am getting bored with it so I thought I'd try something different. I'm a bit nervous about it but am hoping some of you can share your experiences!
Any tips to make this go as flawless as possible?
Thanks VPers!

I've used it on my legs... and it burned even though I left it on for the normal amount of time. The hair came back just as fast as with shaving.

You might get a little home wax kit if you're just doing your bikini line, and not your whole girly bits area.

it might be "safer" to use a hair removal cream that is made for the bikini line.

i tried a cream on my bikini line and i actually burned and bled, it was very uncomfortable (ok, damn painful) and not very nice looking. i wouldn't do it again, but it might have just been i'm sensitive.

I tried that on my legs and it left horrible welts that lasted for a week! I would be really scared to put that stuff on my ladyparts...

I use it on my butt crack, after having nicked myself too many times back there. It burns a little bit, and generally it works better to use a washcloth rather than the blade to get the hair off, but it works ok.

Stuff didn't work on my legs, it was smelly and kinda burned so i wouldn't put it anywhere important.

Get something meant for the down there area. In the past I've used it to remove public hair and burned the hell out of myself. Just thinking about it hurts =(

I'll be the dissenting opinion here and say that I use it almost exclusively now after starting to use it about 1-2 years ago. I like the blade for the VEET system best, but the Nair stuff in a big bottle works just as good (for me) and is cheaper per oz. so I'll normally buy the VEET occasionally for the 'blade' and then use the Nair stuff. I've had a bad reaction once or twice when I left it on for like 15 minutes (beyond the recommended 6-10) and scraped super hard and it was a little burny, but my entire vulva didn't rot off or anything.

It leaves me smoother than when I shave, doesn't give me as many ingrown hairs as shaving, but I don't know that it lasts longer than shaving. The trade off for ingrown hairs though is well worth it for me. FWIW, I use it to take off absolutely every inch of hair (a brazilian, i.e., I think?) so that's how I use it. I have pretty long labia, so I don't really have to worry about it getting up in my vagina, but if you have smaller labia I've heard of women wrapping a bit of toilet paper around your inner labia to prevent it from getting up there and messing w/ you pH, if you choose to use it farther south than just your mons.

Anyway, that's my experience. I'd recommend doing a test spot in whicher place(s) you want to use it on, especially if your going to use it on your labia majora as that's more sensative IMO than your mons to chemicals and such.

I think the Veet stuff says specifically not to use it in the nether-regions. I've used it on my legs with unpleasant results, so I don't even want to think about what it'd do it my bits.

I used to use the Veet Senstive cream down there. I definitely wouldn't reccommend the foam, that stuff burned on my legs and that was enough for me. I have found now that its not as good because its like the hair is used to it. Just use a little intimate shaver now which is the best, never cut myself with it.

Okay, two weeks ago I decided that I was tired of shaving bikini/pubic area, and I first bought a NAIR wax kit, which turned out to be quite painful for a chicken like me, and then a Veet bladeless kit (seen here). I have pretty coarse hair, so I left the Veet on the the area for about 6 minutes and then used the bladeless.... tool to remove the hair without problem. I didn't experience burning or any unpleasant sensations, though I must admit the product doesn't smell like sunshine and daisies. That's easily fixed with lotion, though. There were no bumps or ingrown hairs or red marks or cuts, which I was extremely happy about, and everything was quite smooth. The hair may have taken a little bit longer than usual to grow back, but probably waxing would be ideal if you're looking for a method to keep hair away for a long time.

I've used Nair down there, which I'm assuming is basically the same .. :/
it hurt like bitch, made things kind of enflamed, & didn't do a very good job!
I'd stick to shaving ...

I've used that on my bikini area (just the sides) and stomach. I left it on for 10 straight minutes and didn't have any problems, although one time I think I wore tight jeans too soon after using it and my skin did break out in a bit of a rash (I didn't realize how sensitive my skin would be after using it!) I never used the blade, just used an old hand towel and warm water to wipe all the hair/Neet off. The results lasted as long as shaving for me, so basically one day before I could feel regrowth. But overall, not a bad product. I just don't think I would use it all over my pubic area, sounds like it could really cause some damage, and having all those chemicals close to such a delicate area might not be too good :\

I've used it on my legs and it was useless. It didn't remove half of the hair. Also my friend used it (again on her legs) and actually got chemical burns from it.

I've actually used this on my bikini line several times and it works. You have to be very careful as to not get it too close to that sensitive area. It'll also take some of the other hair off but it does work and I've had no problems.
