Strange sensation in uterus

Hello everyone! I found out about this community through another that I'm in. Someone suggested that you guys might be able to help. :)

For a few days now I've had a really weird sensation in my uterus. I can actually feel my uterus (not by touch, that's just the area the sensation covers). It's sort of like a pressure. Not painful but somewhat uncomfortable. To be honest it reminds me of when I was pregnant with my daughter. She would push her head into my cervix all the time and this is almost like that. Except I'm not pregnant as far as I know and when she would do that I was about 8 months preggo.

In the other group someone suggested uterine prolapse and another suggested uterine fibroids. I've read up on both and to be honest I don't know what to think. I am planning on making an appointment with a gyno just to get checked out and make sure it's nothing serious. However, I would like to have something to tell the doctor. So, I'm trying to figure out as much as I can on my own.

Some background: There is a very small possibility that I'm pregnant. My test said no but my period is overdue by almost a week. The last time I had sex was the day my period ended in May. We used the pull out method because I'm allergic to most other forms of BC. I've never gotten pregnant this way and only think it's a possibility because my period is late. Also, I don't know if this would affect anything, I use a menstrual cup. My cervix usually rides a bit low and a few times the cup has opened on the side of my uterus (OUCH) but I just adjusted it till it was below it again and it was fine. I've had two pregnancies, one delivered vaginally the other c-section. I used to get ovarian cysts (bad ones) and have had PID (doctors never treated it right so it kept on comming back until I got a doctor who knew how to treat it...he said there may be some scarring).

Um...I can't think of anything else. I know you guys can't diagnose anything. I just want some ideas of what to tell my doctor when I go see her. Thanks!

just tell your doctor what you told us! i've been having spasming and feeling pressure on the left side of my uterus for months; i finally went and had it checked out...my doctor had me go get a pelvic ultrasound, and it turns out it's a harmless fluid buildup that will eventually go away. could be anything, y'know? good luck!

Thanks luv. My whole issue is that I don't completely trust doctors. I've had so many mis-diagnosises and have been given the wrong treatment for things too many times. So I kind of got into the habit of researching what I can on an ailment before seeing a doctor. lol This way if they say "it's this" I can ask, "well what about that?" and it might make them think of something they didn't. I can discuss with them what's going on and I also just like to be informed. lol
