Sore Clitoris

Hey ladies, I've got a question.

Saturday night Boyfriend and I were fooling around and he went down on me, which, while nice, was extra vigorous due to time apart. I think he may have scratched or bitten my clitoris. The area around it is a little sore, itchy, and occasionally painful (esp. when it comes in contact with anything).

We're both each other's first and only sexual partners, so I'm not worried about STDs. I'm worried though that I might have an injury there, though. Is this common or not, and if so, is there anything I should do to facilitate the healing process?

Thanks!

Occasionally I get a feeling of a bruise on my clit from rough play. It's pretty normal for me.. and I assume most ladies. It isn't terribly unlikely that he may have hurt you, but if it doesn't seem infected or too irritated it's probably fine. Vitamin C is good for healing crap. For me, stuff like that goes away after a few days of not so rigorous sexings.

I had the same thing, I posted it, but I couldnt locate the link (lol). My bf actually scratched me by accident, and I was told to use vasoline and warm water and within a couple days I was GOOD TO GO!!! =)

totally normal, i get little bruises and scratches down there all the time. just leave it alone and be a bit more careful for the next few days, and you'll feel much better! you'd be surprised at how quickly the vagina heals itself. :)

I swear by olive oil. Extra virgin olive oil, straight from the kitchen. Moisturizing with just a touch of oil soothes itch, and irritation when I feel like it's rubbed raw! You can just use a little bit during the day, or just oil the whole area up at night and then sleep nudie!

(you might want to stay away from this if you use condoms, as oil = no good for them) Also, the oil will just soak in after a while, but you can always just wipe off excess with a wash cloth and some mild soap.

then sleep nudie

Don't you get oil on the sheets?

Nope, there won't be enough oil to stain the sheets unless you accidentally spill some!

How long were you apart? My partner and I used to be long distance and if we went a month without sex, we were both sore after a "reunion".

I like to smear vitamin e oil around the hood of my clitoris when I get gunk stuck up there & can't get it out, that tends to help with irritation & make things move more smoothly.

I wouldn't put it on unless I was certain there were no open wounds though. I don't know how that would work if there was an open wound :x

Alternatively a sitz bath might be comforting. Just sitting in a tub or bowl of warm water for a while.
