Bump on outer labia

So, today, I discovered this red, tender bump on my outer labia. It's not too big, about pimple sized, and I'm thinking it's either a pimple or bug bite. It looks similar to the pimples I get inside my thighs when I wear too tight pants or a skirt for two long (my thighs tend to chaf when I wear skirts too long). I was just wondering if anyone has experienced anything like this, if I should see a doctor, and how to treat it if it becomes uncomfortable (it's not at the moment).

Some info:

- I'm 18
- I'm sexually active, but am with my first partner who has never had a previous partner before me
- I haven't had sex in about a week
- I have had a few yeast infections before
- The bump is in an area I shave

Could it be an ingrown hair? I get those sometimes in areas that I shave, and mine are usually rather pimple-like and kind of tender. There are some good suggestions for treatment (if it's necessary) and prevention here.

My preferred remedy for both pimples and ingrown hairs is a warm compress -- just take a washcloth, soak it in hot water and wring it out and then gently apply it to the affected area. :)

I've got something similar to this! I don't shave though, but it looks to me like...heat rash, or from chafing the last time I had sex (also about a week ago). It rubs sometimes during the day and bothers me.
